“Acting happened to me by chance. It started off with my brother’s photographer friend casually clicking some pictures of me and sending them to Images Bazaar in Delhi. I was selected to do some print shoots with the company, after which I joined a YouTube channel...that’s when I started getting comfortable with the camera. After a year and a half, I returned to modelling, and eventually decided to try acting, too. To my surprise, I got selected in my very first audition, and had a movie role even before I had moved to Mumbai. It was Poster Boys, and my first scene was with Sunny Deol. I was shaking! But luckily, I didn’t have any lines. Since I am an introvert, it is very difficult for me to open up to people, but I’m getting better. Even when I told my parents I wanted to be an actor, their biggest concern was, ‘For that, you’ll have to go out and interact with people, and you hardly talk to your own relatives!’. But with time, I’ve learnt. Also, being on a film set is different...you are a different person there, hiding behind a character.”
