However, did you know that most action sequences are performed by stunt doubles who are made to look like the main character? (apologies in case we burst your bubble!) While we've been lauding our favourite actors all this while, it's the behind the scene's performers who deserve applause for their death-defying stunts in movies. 

Most of these professional performers choose to lead a life away from the paparazzi, with the actors inevitably taking credit for their skill.
