Katrina Kaif Pens a Heartfelt Note For Her Sisters As She Shares New Wedding Photographs

All thanks to Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, our Instagram feeds are flooded with photographs from the *biggest* celebrity event of the year—and, we're not complaining! Over the last few days, the couple has been sharing glimpses from their intimate 3-day affair in Rajasthan. From the pre-wedding festivities leading up to the nuptials, we've seen (bits of) it all, and we're waiting for more.

Just a few hours ago, Katrina Kaif took to Instagram to dedicate a post to the women behind the scenes, her "pillars of strength". She wrote, "Growing up, we sisters always protected each other. They are my pillars of strength, and we keep each other grounded…May it always stay that way." In case you didn't know, Katrina is one of six sisters in the Turquotte-Kaif family. Her mother, Suzanne Turquotte, gave birth to seven girls and one boy, and on her big day, her sisters turned bridesmaids, walking her down the aisle to her one-and-only love.

In the series of pictures, you can see Katrina walking under the blanket of flowers with her entourage of bridesmaids, including Isabelle Kaif, Melissa Turquotte Roberts, Natacha Turquotte, Sonia Turquotte, Stephanie Turquotte, and Christine Raphael Duran Spencer. While, traditionally, the brothers are meant to hold the flower canopy over the bride-to-be's head, the actor's #BrideSquad took on the responsibility of leading her up to the aisle. The gorgeous flower canopy features what appears to be intertwined jasmine flowers with baby's breath forming a border and white roses dangling along the sides.

A few days ago, Katrina's younger sister Isabelle Kaif shared a picture of the newlyweds and wrote, "Yesterday, I gained a brother. Welcome to our crazy family! We couldn’t be luckier to have you." Following Katrina's footsteps, Isabelle has also forayed into the Bollywood industry, having made her debut alongside Sooraj Pancholi in Stanley D Costa directed Time To Dance.

These newly released photographs also give us a good look at the Sabyasachi bridal ensemble, highlighting exquisite embroidery and intricate handwoven details. (For all the deets about the duo's wedding attire and jewellery, click here).
