The Kardashians didn’t show up to the 2022 Emmy Awards, and because they have managed to make themselves damn near omnipresent in our cultural lexicon, naturally people were wondering where they were and why they skipped the show. And the questions are super valid—they are reality TV’s biggest players!
Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and their mom Kris Jenner were all in New York over the weekend for the start of New York Fashion Week, and they’ll likely stay in the city until NYFW ends on Wednesday.
On Saturday, Kim was seen sitting front row at the Fendi show in a sheer gown between her good friend LaLa Anthony and Sarah Jessica Parker.
On Sunday, Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker attended the Tommy Hilfiger show in Brooklyn, among other outings during the weekend. But the couple balanced work and play because on Monday morning, Kourtney was in studio on the Today show talking with Hoda Kotb. Later in the afternoon, per her Instagram Story, Kourtney ventured into Hearst Tower (where Cosmo HQ is housed!) to promote her newest vitamin line Lemme. (No, we didn’t spot her.)
Kris and her longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble also went to the Hilfiger show on Sunday. Kendall made her early Fashion Week rounds too, then took some time to hang out with her boyfriend Devin Booker at the U.S. Open. But after this, it was back to business and on Monday, Kendall and Kris were spotted trodding along New York City streets together, each clad in all black ensembles.
Kylie Jenner, meanwhile, has been working overtime promoting her newest collection with Kylie Cosmetics, the Kris Collection, which drops on September 14 (which is probs why Kylie wasn’t spotted out and about during NYFW). She did, however, make time to stop by The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday alongside her mom.
And it’s unclear where Khloé Kardashian was during NYFW, but she DEFINITELY showed up for Beyoncé’s belated 41st birthday on Saturday alongside Kim, looking 🔥.

While Kim and Kendall attended the Emmys in 2019 as presenters, it’s not a complete shock that the whole group of Kardashians didn’t show up tonight. Not only is their new Hulu series The Kardashians not up for any awards this evening, but their first show Keeping Up With the Kardashians—which ran on E! for 14 years and produced a total of 20 seasons—was never nominated for an Emmy.
In an episode of the new series, Kris Jenner revealed that Kim bought her a real Emmy in an auction and gave it to her as a gift for her 60th birthday. While Kris couldn’t recall who the Emmy belonged to, she joked, “You put it out there and it just might happen.”
Keep manifesting, Kris!
