Evelyn Sharma and Tushaan Bhindi Had a Celebrity Cupid Who Set Them Up!

Actor Evelyn Sharma and fiance Tushaan Bhindi recently said 'I Do' in a stunning and sustainable Australian countryside wedding in Brisbane. Elegant and simple, the wedding had a casual yet chic Parisian vibe.

Tushaan had popped the question to Evelyn in 2019 in a gorgeous location overlooking the Harbour Bridge. Now, as the couple is planning a big, fat Indian wedding, they revealed that they had a celebrity cupid who nudged their love story!

Evelyn and Tushaan met on a blind date set up by none other than their common friend, Elli AvrRam. Commenting on their secret wedding, Elli says: “Since I know both Evelyn and Tushaan, I just had this strong feeling that they will be perfect for each other, a complete power couple! And today I’m so happy seeing these two beautiful souls being happily married. There’s no better feeling than this! I wish them forever greatness in their journey together.”
 

Tushaan and Evelyn in fact lived just a street apart in Bandra, Mumbai, for several years, but never really got to know each other. In late 2018 Tushaan completed his work assignments in Mumbai and was ready to relocate back to Australia, but Elli AvrRam insisted before he left he was to go on a bilnd date with her best friend! 

It just so happened that Evelyn and Elli had planned a dinner of their own, which Elli cancelled at the last minute and sent Tushaan to take her place. The two of them met that night and the rest is history. Evelyn says of that last-minute date night, “I never believed in love at first sight until I met Tushaan. We knew that night that we would want to spend our life together.” 

Evelyn Sharma made the decision to leave behind Germany and India at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 for a life with Tushaan in Australia. “It’s been a big adjustment to move to a whole new country without being able to see your family and friends, but it is all worth it for a life with my soulmate,” says Evelyn.
