"He Was Dating Someone Else But Flirting With Me": Deepika Padukone On Meeting Ranveer Singh

When you think of iconic Bollywood couples, many names come to mind, and for millennials, it's always going to be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The newly married couple's love story is still talked about, even two months after their wedding, and that only goes to prove the pull they have with their fans. 

Recently in an interview, Deepika spoke about how her courtship with Ranveer began, and turns out it was less than ideal. "I was at Yash Raj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, ‘You are flirting with me.’” Ahem! 

She then went on to share a favourite memory from when they had just started dating. The couple were at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house (of course) for lunch, and had a rather funny, cheeky moment. "Sir called us over for lunch and we were eating and apparently there was a piece of crab stuck in my tooth and he wanted to make me awkward and he said, ‘Oh, there’s a crab stuck in your mouth,’ and I said, ‘Then take it out’. That moment all three of us won’t forget,” she said.
