Sydney Sweeney's flowing red carpet dress is almost entirely see-through

Former Cosmopolitan UK cover girl Sydney Sweeney has a lot and we mean a lot going on. First up, there's her powerhouse acting career which has seen her play iconique roles such as Cassie Howard in Euphoria, a young bride in feminist drama The Handmaid's Tale and Olivia in The White Lotus. There's also the fact she started the production company Fifty-Fifty Films in 2020 and has collaborated with Frankies Bikinis (you know, the gorge swimwear brand) on a collection inspired by summer romance. She's also majorly outspoken about issues facing women, speaking on the body shaming she faced when she was younger and double standards around nudity in Hollywood.

Yep, she's an icon. And now she has a new project on the horizon to be excited about. Specifically, she's going to appear in the new drama film Reality, where she plays US whistleblower Reality Winner and which has already received majorly positive reviews for her acting talents.

The NYC premiere for the film was this week and Sydney made sure to turn up and wow the cameras with a gorgeous look. Specifically, the fit comprised of a floor-sweeping black dress by Schiaparelli which was flowing and was half see-through, due to strips of sheer fabric at the thighs, abs and more. The more revealing areas of her body were covered with more dense black ruffles but the gown was strapless, leaving her arms and shoulders exposed.

She posted the look on her IG and received plenty of enthusiastic feedback from a number of famous names.
