Saif Ali Khan: “Everybody Talks, and I Think the Other Sex is Mostly What We Talk About.”

Cosmo: What do you like about doing comic roles? How different is it from what you normally do?
Saif Ali Khan: “I’m trying to think...it’s liberating. Yes. It’s unpretentious rather than pretentious.”

C: Let’s talk relationships. Do men get nervous about things?
Saif: “I’m sure they do. Of course. I mean they should. I think nerves bring out the best results! Anything worth it should make you a little bit nervous, no?”

C: Of course! Do guys debrief each other about dates?
Saif: “What do you mean ‘debrief’? Like taking off their...?”

C: Hahaha! Not exactly. More like coming back from a date and discussing it...
Saif: “I haven’t done that in a while, but I guess so. I mean, you know, everybody talks, and I think the other sex is mostly what we talk about.”

C: What according to you makes a relationship work?
Saif: “In one word—respect. You know you could write a book on it, most people do.”

C: Maybe you could write one, too! What are the three most important qualities in a woman?
Saif: “To me or to them? Hmm...I suppose it would be, you know, honesty, loyalty, and kindness.”
