Priyanka Chopra is busy taking the world by storm, particularly Hollywood, stunning in red carpet events, and promoting her debut film, Baywatch, across several American TV shows. Lately, she was in Berlin, sightseeing and meeting PM Narendra Modi, as you do.
But recently, she's also been creating an uproar on the Internet, for some pretty controversial stuff. She's made headlines, for all the wrong things. First, she was targeted for wearing a knee-length dress, and showing her bare legs in front of Modi. Oh how could she. ?
And then she posted a selfie, at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, breaking the only unspoken rule, and the Internet exploded. It was highly offensive, and hurt a lot of people, which is why the actor took down her pictures.
But showing her legs in front of Modi? Come on now, it's the 21st century, it's not a big deal. Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama, rule countries, dressed very similarly. While some on Twitter gave her a lot of hate for disrespecting her elders, some supported her right to wear any outfit of her choice.
Priyanka clapped back at her trolls, in the most epic way, posting this picture with her mother, and captioning it as, "Legs for days..."
Yeah you tell them girl.
Even our man crush, Varun Dhawan rushed to her rescue, and gave this statement, "She is someone we all should be proud of in our country. She is making our country proud abroad and all this is very stupid. Social media trolling is not something that needs to become a national issue."
True that ?
But megastar, Amitabh Bachchan sort of refrained from commenting on it. He said, "I am neither the PM nor Priyanka Chopra. How can I answer then?"
We wonder how he REALLY feels...
