We Bet You Missed Shahid Kapoor's Hint About Mira Rajput's Second Pregnancy...

Their wedding had come as a big surprise (and a shock to Shahid's many female fans!), more so because of the age-gap between Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. And when they announced their pregnancy soon after, people had mixed feelings. But the much in love never seemed perturbed, and were all over each other during their first public appearance on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan. 

Shahid and Mira who had an arranged marriage, self-confessed to falling in love after conceiving their baby daughter Misha. "Relationships are about experiences that you share together; that's how you fall in love. For me and Mira, Misha was our first project together. We felt a sense of togetherness and companionship," Shahid had said at the India Today Woman Summit 2017.

Now, after more than a year has passed since the birth of Misha, who is yet another Internet favourite celeb-kid, speculations were rife about Mira Rajput being pregnant again. Papz were in full form, and pictures were all over social media about what people presumed was a baby bump. Putting rest to all this back and forth, the couple took to Instagram to break the good news.

"I am very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it on Instagram, and I felt the photograph was really cute. So, it was a spontaneous decision and it just happened," Shahid said at a recently held awards show.

But, we think Shahid and Mira had started giving a heads-up to fans from much before. In an interview last year, Shahid openly talked about them planning to expand their family, and said, "She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes.It wasn’t planned actually, but I think we were ready for it. I was impatient to get married and have a family. My job is a lonely one. I was lonely for three or four years." Even Mira Rajput said she'll like to have another baby, before deciding upon her career path.
