OMG! Did We Just Catch the First Look of Game of Thrones's Final Season?

We know it seems like a lifetime to when we witnessed the seventh season of the show that has the world raving about it—aka Game of Thrones. The eighth and final season is taking forever to shoot (at least that's what it seems like) and we got to admit that we jump at every li'l detail that surfaces online about how this epic saga will end.

Besides knowing the fact that it won't premier before the second half of 2019, we know that instead of the usual ten, this season will have only six episodes. Well, all you GOT maniacs, here's a li'l treat for you. Because HBO just released a teaser promo of its upcoming line-up for the next year which showed snippets of shows like True Detective, Big Little Lies, Barry, Veep, Sharp Objects, and of course, Game of Thrones!

The moment only lasts a second, and it is difficult to spot as the video is full of footage from the penultimate Season 7. Entertainment Weekly notes, when Jon Snow hugs Sansa, it’s happening at Winterfell, not Castle Black, where they previously shared a sibling embrace in Season 6. So, this really counts as the first footage of Game of Thrones Season 8.
