Kristen Stewart Defends Herself From Accusations of Resting Bitch Face

No matter how many times Kristen Stewart says she's not mean in real life, she will seemingly never stop getting asked about how sometimes she makes mean faces by accident. The latest person to ask K-Stew about her most famous feature is fellow actress Juliette Lewis, who interviewed her for the September issue of  Elle  U.K. "The whole smiling thing is weird because I actually smile a lot," Kristen explained. "I literally want to be like, 'Dude, you would think I was cool if you got to know me.'" She's not lying, either. There she is above,  smiling at the Chanel resort show in Seoul, South Korea. Look at her below at the César Awards, clutching her trophy Best Supporting Actress trophy and displaying unadulterated glee. She does smile! And why wouldn't she? Her life seems pretty chill.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kristen further explained why she's not active on Twitter or Facebook, saying that it has more to do with the idea of talking to so many people at once than it does with philosophy. "I'm not anti-social media," she said. "I just haven't decided to do it. The idea of addressing such a massive group ... if I don't know who I'm talking to it doesn't make any fucking sense to me." Maybe she just needs someone to teach her how to Snapchat.

Unfortunately she undermined her own point about the smiling thing by not smiling on the cover, but you can't hold that against her because she definitely did not get to choose this photo. She does deserve credit for pulling off that fuchsia pleated ruffle sleeve, however, because that is a lot of look.
