Sonam Kapoor is Seeking Marriage Advice From Karan Johar?

The unabashedly honest and savage AF filmmaker in Bollywood, Karan johar, spares nobody in the film frat from his roasting. Let's face it, his chat show Koffee With Karan has everyone glued to their television screens for a reason! On a side note, a new season of the show is soon to be aired, and as always, one can expect it to live up to its reputation and trigger a lot of fireworks.

Thanks to his sass, Karan Johar is not just the most popular anchor and chat-show host, but is even running his own radio show titled Calling Karan on the channel Ishq.

In the first season, KJo discussed topics like marriage, love, homosexuality, and more. Now in its second season, we see him taking these discussions up a notch.

Much to everyone's surprise, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja called Karan on his show asking him for his suggestions on how to adjust in the first year of marriage. To which he replied, "Not that I am a marital expert Sonam! Adjustments are critical, because practically being husband and wife, living together, you get privy to all the habits that your partner has that sometimes may not be in conjunction with yours. So the first thing, I really want to tell you is, patience."

Not just that, he even advised Sonam to observe and understand small details, like which side of the bed would your partner like to sleep on, or his bathroom timings, or his watching television or Netflix habits. "It could be anything that may not be in conjunction. First, understand the schedule, routine habits, and then if something really difficult, then try and talk about it. But not definitely in the first year, you don’t want to come out so strong and cause road blocks, initially," he advised.

Well, that sounds like some good, sensible advice for all you newly-weds out there. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that a celeb openly discussed her own marriage and on the radio?

Here's hoping we get to hear more of the real stuff from our celebs!
