Proof that no one does Halloween like Orry

When it comes to Halloween, dressing up is one thing, but committing to an entire character is quite another. And if there’s one person who never misses an opportunity to go all out, it’s Orry. Every year, his costume choices bring a mix of nostalgia, pop-culture references and the kind of unexpected combinations that make you stop scrolling. This time around, he’s taken us from the world of Mean Girls to Tumbbad, with a little Peppa Pig thrown into the mix. Yes, you read that right.

From recreating iconic Bollywood looks to teaming up with friends for some rather unexpected costume pairings, Orry has certainly made the most of Halloween. Here are all the costumes that caught our attention.

North West, but make it Orry

Orry channelled North West with a look that takes its cues from the young style icon’s distinctive fashion sense. Think bold styling, a confident attitude and an outfit that feels right at home in North’s wardrobe. It’s a reminder that Halloween costumes don’t always need to involve elaborate transformations. Sometimes, getting the look and attitude just right is enough.

Peppa Pig meets The Nun

Orry brought a little childhood nostalgia to Halloween as Peppa Pig, while Gunit Banga joined him in a costume inspired by The Nun. The unlikely pairing made for a playful contrast between a beloved cartoon character and a horror-film favourite. It’s a reminder that Halloween is all about having fun with the unexpected.

A 'Devil' throwback with Gunit

Orry and Gunit reunited for another costume moment, this time with Orry wearing a net top inspired by Nargis Fakhri’s look in the song 'Devil'. It’s a nostalgic nod to the Bollywood number, and another example of Orry finding inspiration in some of Hindi cinema’s most memorable fashion moments.

Orry as Pooh from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Orry gave us a double dose of Bollywood nostalgia with a look inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan’s iconic Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, with a playful nod to Alia Bhatt’s take on the character. The signature attitude, the fashion and the unmistakable Poo energy make this one of the more recognisable looks in his Halloween lineup.

The Mean Girls boy group

On Wednesdays, we wear pink! Orry and his friends stepped into the world of Mean Girls, bringing the Plastics’ iconic aesthetic to Halloween. The coordinated pink looks are a fun nod to one of the most quotable films of the 2000s, proving that the rules of the Plastics’ wardrobe apply to Halloween, too.

A little Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon nostalgia with Mr Faisu

Orry and Mr Faisu took us back to 2001 with their recreation of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hrithik Roshan’s looks from Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. The throwback is a reminder of the era when Bollywood fashion was all about statement outfits and unapologetic glamour. For anyone who grew up watching early 2000s Hindi films, this one is bound to bring back a few memories.

Entering the world of Tumbbad as Hastar

In a departure from his usual pop-culture references, Orry went decidedly darker with a look inspired by Hastar from Tumbbad. The unsettling costume brings a dose of horror to his otherwise playful Halloween lineup, and is a reminder that he’s just as willing to embrace the creepy side of the season as he is to have a little fun with it.

Animal Farm with Gunit Banga and Vridhi Patwa

Orry and Khushi Kapoor made for an unlikely Halloween duo, with Orry dressed as Wonder Woman and Khushi as a bee. He also teamed up with viral kid Gunit Banga and social media sensation Vridhi Patwa for an Animal Farm-inspired costume moment. The group brought a playful animal-themed twist to the celebrations, adding a little superhero energy and animal magic to Orry’s Halloween lineup.

Pennywise and the infamous red balloon with Vanshaj

Orry and Vanshaj took a trip to Derry with their recreation of Pennywise and the infamous red balloon from IT. The look is instantly recognisable to anyone familiar with the horror franchise, and brings a suitably spooky touch to the celebrations. Consider this your reminder to think twice before following a mysterious red balloon.

Shrek and Lord Farquaad take over

Orry and Gunit stepped into the world of Shrek as the titular ogre and Lord Farquaad. From Shrek’s unmistakable green look to Farquaad’s signature royal attire, the duo brought a little Far Far Away magic to Halloween. We can only imagine what Donkey would have made of the whole thing.

A Nagin moment with Janhvi Kapoor

Orry and Janhvi Kapoor brought a touch of old-school Bollywood fantasy to Halloween with their Nagin-inspired looks. The reference is a nostalgic nod to the supernatural world of classic Hindi cinema, and a welcome change from the more familiar pop-culture costumes.

'Poco Loco' ghosts with Ruhaanika

Orry and Ruhaanika rounded off the costume lineup with their 'Poco Loco'-inspired ghost looks. The playful costumes offered a lighter take on Halloween, proving that even the spooky season can have its share of cute, unexpected moments.
