NBD, but Your Sun Sign Might Not Mean What You Think It Does

Most of us think our Sun sign represents our core personality, outlining the preexisting vibe we inherit as a result of the Sun’s position in the sky when we were born. We assume that Aries are courageous and impetuous, Capricorns are earnest and hardworking, etc., etc. Right?!

Um, well, maybe not actually.

There’s a school of ~astrological thought~ that rather than providing a brochure of identity traits, your Sun sign actually describes what you’re capable of becoming, your highest self, your potential pathway to greatness. So it’s not who you inherently are but who you could become.

The first milestone of this personal development journey, and the first opportunity to truly discover your niche in the world, doesn’t usually come up before your first Saturn Return (that thing where Saturn, the planet of discipline and structure, returns to where it was when you were born, bringing with it some home truths and hefty nudges to grow up and own up to what and who you are IRL—it’s your 29th-ish birthday present).

Your Sun sign doesn’t necessarily make you anything. Instead, it provides a sort of cosmic blueprint of the abilities, virtues, ambitions, and qualities that, if you can embrace and express them, will bring you to your rightful destiny in this lifetime.

Mmkay, so what is your full potential then??

    • Or: to be a chef.

            VIRGO

                SCORPIO

To acknowledge, understand, and tame your own inner demons and darkness in order to bring truth and healing to others who cannot.

                      AQUARIUS
