Reese Witherspoon Just Chopped Off All Her Hair, So Now I Wanna Chop Off All My Hair

• Big Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon chopped off all her hair.
• She opted for a bob for the summer.

It is officially haircut season. Lily James got one, Anne Hathaway got one, and Zendaya and Sophie Turner got (probably faux) bangs. If you are someone who is easily influenced and makes impulse haircut decisions when you see celebrities do it, this summer is going to be rough for you. Sorry, but you need to brace yourself. This trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down either, because Reese Witherspoon just debuted a totally different look.

Earlier this week, Reese posted a video on her Instagram of her new look, and it’s a cross between her Sweet Home Alabama short, feathered hair days and the longer hair she’s been rocking on her show, Big Little Lies. (Side note: The show comes back this Sunday, so this could be a “that’s a wrap” cut.) Just last week, she was sporting this shoulder-length style:

And now, her hair is a choppy bob that hits right above her shoulder. It’s honestly the perfect length because she won’t have to use a thousand bobby pins to put it in a ponytail, which we all know can be THE WORST. Alrighty, are you ready to take a look?

Elle Woods would be so proud, but I gotta say, I’m a little disappointed she didn’t walk into the salon and ask for something involving ammonium thioglycolate just for sh*ts and giggles, but you win some, you lose some.
