It has antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties which target a multitude of viral infections and illnesses. It is also a gentler essential oil which makes it suitable for regular use.

How to useAdd 2 drops of eucalyptus oil to your handkerchief, to inhale and relieve symptoms of cough, cold, congestion, or a headache. You may also add 2-3 drops to a diffuser.

4. Peppermint Oil

A popular ingredient in ancient medicine, peppermint oil is a versatile oil serves anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. It is known for its high menthol content that refreshes and perks up mood, besides being beneficial when it comes to fighting coughs, colds, fevers, headaches and sinus.

How to useUse 2 drops of peppermint oil with a carrier oil and apply it on your chest to ease traces of cold and cough. Alternatively, add a few drops of the same to a diffuser to cleanse your ambience.
