Being one with nature can put a pep in your step and turn your frown upside down. Sometimes just putting a fresh bouquet of flowers in a vase can instantly calm your mind and their fragrance can soothe your senses. While flowers in a vase can soon wilt, but an indoor garden can forever be a natural respite for you.    

From fragrant blooms to kitchen herbs, your indoor garden can be your personal oasis. So, we spoke to Vinayak Garg, founder of Lazy Gardener, to know all about the gardening tools you need to begin your journey as a plant mom (or dad!).

This nifty tool is often used to loosen the soil in the pot and removing weeds. Some plants require you to loosen the topsoil to allow aeration, and this BB is just right for that!

 Gardening pruners are a handy tool to remove dry leaves or blooms from your plants. You can also use them to harvest veggies and snip herbs. However, do not use them for cutting open seed or manure packets.

From changing soil from pots and mixing manure to collecting leaves and cuttings, a gardening mat has many uses. You can also use it to kneel comfortably as you garden.
