The recently hosted Cosmo India Blogger Awards (CBA) at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram, was a grand two-day affair to celebrate the work, passion, persistence, and talent of bloggers across 23 categories like fashion, lifestyle, food, travel, beauty, body-positivity, and more. From a Parisian-themed breakfast to the Colorbar Lipstick Lunch, needless to say, day two of the CBA ’23, was all things fun, vibrant and exciting.
The Colorbar Lipstick Lunch was akin to entering the (dream-like) enchanting world of lipsticks, experimenting with notions of beauty, while indulging in specially curated, colour-coordinated food. The space was divided into three experience zones with photo-booths, along with a kiosk dedicated to Colorbar’s vibrant range and a large section displaying a host of sweet and savoury dishes.
The experience zones were creatively brought to life for bloggers for them to enjoy the super chic and eclectic décor, along with the wide range of Colorbar products that inspired the Lipstick Lunch. Each zone was labelled with neon plaques, with absolutely adorable titles. The “Cute, Crazy, Soft, Nude” kiosk, was all about nude colours and neutral tones of lipsticks and was decorated with teddy-bears that exuded warmth, comfort, and cosiness. RJ Karishma was spotted having a gala time in this zone. The second zone which screamed ‘Barbiecore,’ was titled “Playful Pink”, and was a reminder to be your own magical self. The third zone, was aptly titled “Lady Red” and was an ode to every bold and beautiful woman out there, unafraid to express herself. The cage was a symbol of liberation, and a message to be unapologetically you! We totally love.
Besides the three photo-booth zones, Colorbar had also created a play zone where bloggers and invitees could play with darts and also had a kiosk to try the brand's range of products. Colorbar’s super dreamy hashtag, #RefillTheMagic was the encouragement we all needed to continue experimenting with colourful palettes, glosses, matte-finish lipsticks and more. A noteworthy, and unmissable kiosk titled, “Take me as I am,” was Colorbar’s newly launched campaign to encourage sustainable beauty. These lipsticks have been created using a three-part design that allows one to refill the lipstick once over, to avoid excessive waste-generation.
And, if the experience couldn’t get any better, for a final touch, Colorbar, in collaboration with the chefs from the Leela Ambience at Gurugram, crafted a menu with colour-coordinated dishes. From red cabbage salad with pulled lamb, rose-coloured chicken ravioli, and magenta-hued prawn risotto, to a blueberry Philadelphia cheesecake and a violet velvet cake—there was a lot to indulge in.
While experiential zones with installed photo-booths were an ode to the range of lipsticks that Colorbar has in store, the specially curated food played with their extensive range and intense hues. The Colorbar Lipstick Lunch, created along with Cosmopolitan, was a kaleidoscopic space that was colourful, inviting, and inclusive for bloggers to express themselves freely, interact with each other, experiment with Colorbar's many products, and make memories of a lifetime.
