The perfect night in is a simple formula: your favourite show, a cosy couch, and snacks that make you want to keep pressing play—even if the “Are you still watching?” screen pops up. Whether you’re bingeing a cult classic, cracking up at reality TV drama, or escaping into a fantasy world, your snacks need to be just as fun and addictive as the content you're binging. After all, the night is all about enjoying every moment, from the first episode to the last bite! Below, we've collated three fun and easy snack recipes that are perfect for your next weeknight in!

Baked spinach and artichoke dip

Ingredients

1 block cream cheese (softened)
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup sour cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded white cheddar
1/2 cup shredded Gruyère
1 can artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
1 cup chopped spinach
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste

Method

Preheat the oven to 150°C. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan, cheddar, Gruyère, spinach, artichokes, garlic, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well until fully combined. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, smooth the top, and sprinkle extra cheddar over it. Bake for 30 minutes. For an extra crispy top, cook for 2 minutes on high. Serve immediately with chips.

Baked beetroot and rosemary chips

Ingredients

2 small beets (thinly sliced)
Olive oil
Sea salt
Black pepper
1–2 sprigs fresh rosemary (roughly chopped)

Method

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the beets as thinly as possible (using a mandolin for best results). Toss the slices in a bowl with a light drizzle of olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and rosemary. Spread the slices in a single layer on a lined baking sheet, ensuring they don't overlap. Bake for 15–20 minutes, checking after 15 minutes to prevent burning. The chips should be crisp and slightly curled at the edges. Cool and serve with a saucy dip.

Air fryer honey-glazed chips

Ingredients

2 cups frozen fries
3 tbsp sriracha sauce
3 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup honey
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
2 scallions (sliced)
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Method

Preheat the air fryer. Cook the fries in batches until golden and crispy, then set aside. In a pan, mix sriracha, soy sauce, ketchup, cornstarch, and honey. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring until the glaze thickens slightly. Toss the crispy fries in the glaze until evenly coated, then garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
