Or maybe not-so-surprisingly.

The Photos in <i>Playboy</i>'s First Non-Nude Issue Are Surprisingly Nude

The March 2016 issue of Playboy marks the magazine's first-ever issue that has zero nudity in it. Playboy CEO Scott Flanders' October announcement that Playboy would no longer feature nudes was met with shock across the Internet, but, true to his word, here's the centerfold from next month's issue — Miss March, Dree Hemingway:

Gorgeous! Tasteful! But wait, then you get to a spread featuring model Myla Dalbesio and...

OK, no nipples or bush here, but still, I'm not sure you can claim it's a "non-nudes" issue if this person is clearly nude. Maybe they count the bunny ears as clothing? Or a towel as clothing, in the case of this shoot with "Snapchat/Instagram luminary" Sarah McDaniel (who's also on the cover):

See, she's so clothed! In a press release, McDaniel describes her shoot saying, "The idea was to look at me from a boyfriend's perspective." Translation: respectful and loving, as opposed to a horny masturbator's perspective.

Guess it's hard to shake 62 years of naked lady tradition. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, etc. The new issue also features an interview with Rachel Maddow, a Q&A with Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer of Broad City, a new monthly column by James Franco, and a woman (Rachel Rabbit White) taking over the famous Playboy Advisor column.
