3 Fabulous Women Share the Pieces That Spend the Most Time On Their Wash Basin

1. RASEEL GUJRAL ANSAL (FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CASA PARADOX AND CASA POP)

“All the things on my basin represent me, in a nutshell. If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a pinkaholic. It’s my go-to colour...along with gold. Hence the pink Dolce & Gabbana clutch and the gold Dior bag. What’s not to love about them? They can spruce up any old pair of jeans, and I’ve taken them to lunch, as well as a spontaneous night-out. Pink, the colour of the moment (among millennials) has a strong presence, without being distracting. My favourite look, however, is when I pair the pink Victorian, embellished bag with a dress (or even a sari in fact) with the matching Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. My accessories show a feminine and more social side of me, rather than my workaholic one. It’s basically a nod in my zone.”

2. PERNIA QURESHI (FOUNDER, PERNIA’S POP-UP SHOP)

Each one of these pieces is a representation of my personal style, a very en-vogue oriented one at that. You’ll catch me wearing a lot of these accessories this season, especially the gold Misho hoops—they look super-chic with almost everything. But the vintage Rolex watch is my favourite...it was my mum’s first ever watch and it means a lot to me. You’ll never see me without it, or my Bvlgari rings (they compliment each other beautifully)—and make for the best arm candy. The latest addition to my bag (and my sink) are the rose-tinted Dior shades. They’re ideal for a fun day out, where, undeniably, I’m going to be taking plenty of selfies.”

3. NANDITA MAHTANI (FASHION DESIGNER)

“I stand strongly by the motto, less is always more. I choose accessories that are simple yet strong, and spell out my different moods perfectly. My style is usually more classic, but
sometimes it’s fun to add a hint of experimental bling. A pair of hoops or a delicate necklace turns any casual look to chic, instantly. But bags are where I love to go all out. This intricate Chanel gold clutch looks stunning with my monotone wardrobe, while the velvet, green Miu Miu bag is ideal for a playful evening out with my girlfriends. My essential, the gold speaker, is a must-have on my sink.”
