Lately, it seems like anything matte lipstick touches turns into beauty gold. From beauty vloggers doing their entire face of makeup with matte lipstick to every single one of Kylie Jenner's lipstick launches breaking the internet, matte lipstick can do no wrong.

Until now.

A few beauty bloggers decided to pile 100 coats of matte liquid lipstick on their lips and the results are absolutely terrifying.

Basically, one to three coats of matte lipstick is great.

50 coats? Not so great.

100 coats? Run for the hills.
