Angad Bedi Shares How His In-Laws Were Furious When He Revealed Neha Dhupia's Pregnancy

Of all the Bollywood couples that surprise us, and keep us on our toes, Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia are quite the mysterious pair. They're as low-key as it gets, even surprising everyone with their super secret and quick wedding in May this year. Until then, they hadn't even confirmed their relationship to anyone. 

 

 

Turns out, they kind of surprised their parents, too. In the recent episode of #NoFilterNeha, Neha's radio show, she had her husband on as guest, and the two discussed their marriage and pregnancy, and how everything went down. As many had speculated, Neha was pregnant when she tied the knot, and apparently, this did not go down well with her parents. 

Angad shared how he went to her parents to break the news of the pregnancy and ask for her hand in marriage. Only, Neha did not want to be the one to tell her parents, to Angad had to end up doing all the talking — and his in-laws did not take it well. Yikes! 

 

"Considering that you didn’t want to break the news that you were expecting, so we had to tell them that we need to get married and we love each other. I was extremely nervous because that was the judgement day, technically. To break the news to your parents, I really had cold feet as clearly it was not going to come from you (Neha). Everything had to come for me. I had to really man up and speak. I just had to blurt it out and see the reaction," he said. His in-laws apparently started yelling at him for creating an unorthodox situation, with her mom even suffering a nose-bleed!

 

This also led to the couple deciding to get married in four days, and executing the wedding in that time — which also pissed off their friends and family, quite a bit!

Phew, talk about drama! But all's well that ends well, right?
