Everything That Happened at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Wedding

The past two days have been dominated by one phenomenon — Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Now, the whole affair has been super secret and only a couple of photos and details have been released to the media so far. But if you're clamouring to know more about the grand event, read on: 

 

The couple prepped hard for this wedding, and clearly a lot of work went into not just keeping things under wraps, but executing such a lavish wedding. Ranveer, who had beefed up for his role in Simbaa, actually had to quickly work toward losing some of the weight in order to fit into his wedding clothes. He reportedly went on a Keto diet for a week to shed some kilos. 

 

At the wedding, everyone was decked in white for Day One, which saw a Konkani wedding, that reportedly was a quiet and elegant affair. But Day Two was a lot more happening, with the Sindhi wedding. There was a makeshift Gurudwara built inside the villa, and a priest from Amritsar was specially flown in. Ranveer even lead his own baraat, by dancing to some of his hit songs and generally having the time of his life! 

Reports also suggested that all of the villa's Italian staff was trained in Konkani and Hindi, and greeted guests in the languages. What's more, reports even suggest that the caterers, who were flown in from Switzerland, are prohibited from replicating the menu anywhere else! Talk about keeping it exclusive! 

 

The couple are set to return to India on the 18th, and will have two receptions — one in Mumbai and the other in Bangalore. Their homes have been decked up in beautiful lights for their welcome, and we can't wait!
