Kim Kardashian Reveals More Horrific Details About What Happened During the Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian West has revealed more horrific details about what exactly happened during the armed robbery she endured in Paris back in 2016.

Just after the third anniversary of the robbery, Kim recalled the experience in an episode of E! True Hollywood Story. Kim explains how she was tied up and gagged in her hotel room by five masked men, while being held at gunpoint, as Kourtney and Kendall were out at a Givenchy show for Paris Fashion Week.

Kim says during the episode: "Right as I was about to fall asleep, I heard guys running up the stairs. They wanted my ring and my jewellery, so I didn't fight back. I just gave them everything and they tied me up."

She continued, saying: "They wrapped duct tape over my eyes and my mouth. It was the scariest thing I've ever been through in my entire life, just thinking that, you know, you're about to die.

"You're just kind of bracing yourself for the moment that they're going to shoot you and kill you. That 10 minutes really changed my whole life."

Kim added: "That moment. It's truly the scariest experience. You can't even describe how scary it is."

The intruders stole £8.5 million of jewellery and ten men were later charged with robbery.

Kourtney Kardashian also appeared in the episode, describing what happened when Kim broke free and called her. She said: "My legs went out. I fell to the floor. Kim was really, really shaken up. We just did all the work that she had to do with the police and got out of there."

Kim flew straight home on a private jet after the break-in. Her husband Kanye West also featured in the episode, explaining how he doesn't like to think about what happened. He said: "There are a lot of thoughts running through my head related to that time, and I don't like to watch those movies."

Kim explained how the experience has changed her life, saying: "There's those moments in your life that really change you and shake you to your core, and my robbery was definitely that moment for me."

But she revealed that she wouldn't change what happened, adding: "As crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't give up that experience for the lessons I learned from it." Kim said she's since learned to be more private and to no longer post on social media "in real time", amid fears for her safety.

Kim continued: "Material things used to be so important to me. But there is nothing material that is important to me [now]."

During the episode, Kim also revealed that, after the O.J. Simpson trial, her father Robert Kardashian was told by a psychic that the name Kardashian was "going to be known worldwide." Kim added: "It's just so trippy now to be like, it was just right."
