When it comes to being healthy and being in the best shape of your life, sometimes simple and fuss-free is the way to go. And, that's what actor and Reebok brand ambassador Malaika Arora agrees with too. 

From including easy exercises such as walking for major calorie-burn to eating right, Malaika says about her fitness routine, "Whenever I feel like I have put on a little weight, walking is one of the most effective ways of exercising to reduce that weight. I have also seen a lot of toning in my legs and overall body while I indulge in walking as a regular fitness activity."

Getting fit and fabulous is not flitting from one fad diet to another. The key is to not deprive yourself and make sure you eat in moderation. "Start your day with mindful eating such as a green juice or a few nuts to keep it light before a workout. Eat proper lunch without depriving your body of anything that it craves. Just ensure you eat everything in moderation," says Malaika.

Lastly, to get in the best shape of your life, consistency is key. So, make healthy eating and workouts a part of your life. As Malaika Arora points out some fitness myths that you need to stop believing in to get fit and fabulous:

"Some of the biggest fitness myths according to me are: 

●    You can get lasting results quickly

●    You need to be thin in order to be fit

●    You need to cut carbs to lose weight

●    You need to do high intensity workout to lose weight

●    Lastly, walking is not a proper form of fitness."
