Sonam Kapoor Celebrates Her Parents' Love Story On Instagram With Some Never Heard Before Revelations!

We all can agree that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's love story gives us butterflies in our belly every time we delve deeper into it. Literally making #EverydayPhenomenal, the newlyweds never shy away from talking about each other, their love story, and how they're making it work despite the hectic schedules.

In many interviews and candid chats, Sonam has confessed that she has always looked up to her parents — Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor — and considered their love as the greatest of all times. Having said that, she even re-posted this Instagram post by Humans of Bombay featuring Anil Kapoor and his love story. So when I got my first break, ‘Meri Jung’ I thought, now house will come, kitchen will come, help will come..I can get married! So I called Sunita & said, ‘Let’s get married tomorrow–it’s tomorrow or never’ & the next day, we were married! I went for shoot 3 days later & madam went abroad on our honeymoon..without me! Honestly, she knows me better than I know me. We’ve built our life; our home together. We’ve raised 3 kids & been through ups and downs. But I feel like we’re finally dating now–romantic walks & dinners have just begun! We’ve been together 45 years–45 years of friendship, love & companionship. They don’t make people like her anymore. She’s the perfect mother, perfect wife & the reason I wake up every morning, motivated. You know why? When I ask her, ‘Arrey, yesterday only gave you so much money’ she says, ‘Woh sab khatam ho gaya..it’s all finished!’ and I jump out of bed & run to work"

Even though Sonam adores her parents' love-story, she has also mentioned she would NEVER date someone like her father! In an interview with Simi Garewal back in 2012, Sonam revealed she was too much like her father, which is why she needed a partner like her mother to keep the relationship balanced! Who would have thought five years down the drain she would find a man with those traits in Anand Ahuja?
