Did Neetu Kapoor Ask Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt to Get Engaged?

It seems like half of Bollywood got married in 2018, starting with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Neha Dhupia and most recently Deepika-Ranbir and Nick-Priyanka. And now, with 2019 already on its way, it seems like Neetu Kapoor has wedding bells on her mind for son Ranbir Kapoor.

With Ranbir now openly in a relationship with co-star Alia Bhatt, we are all waiting to see what happens next, Neetu Kapoor included. The Kapoor's have welcomed Alia into their family in the warmest way possible, and judging by Neetu Kapoor's social media, she could not be any more fond of Alia. Check out some of her recent posts.

They sure seem like one big happy family already, don't they? And now, rumour has it that the Kapoor family, especially Ranbir's mum, is eager that the couple exchanges rings this year, as early as June 2019! Won't that be something?

Before you get ready to start refreshing your social media feeds and fantasising about wedding hashtags (#Ranalia?) let us give you the whole story. While mommy Neetu might be keen to get them engaged, it seems like the couple are in no rush themselves. According to a recent report, “While everyone is speculating about another Bollywood wedding this year, but it is being reported that the couple plans on waiting it out, at least until their upcoming film together is released.”

We all know how close Ranbir is to his mother. And, given the fact that they are both constantly meeting each other's families, it won’t come as a surprise if Neetu Kapoor manages to convince Ranbir to exchange rings early this year. Wouldn't that be exciting? We promise to keep our eyes and ears peeled  and bring you all the latest deets!
