Dare You Not to Cry at This Video of a Woman Asking the Man Who Raised Her to Adopt Her

If you're in the mood for an EMOTIONAL BANGER this morning, might I suggest taking a peep at this video of a young woman asking the man who raised her to legally adopt her?

Misty Nicole Knight, from Illinois, posted a short video of what looks like a gift exchange at Ryan Farrell's birthday, and in just four days, it's been viewed more than 25 million times on Facebook. Probably because this is maybe the sweetest thing anyone has ever seen? 

The whole scene starts out normally, with Ryan (the man who raised Misty) reading a nice note she included in his gift (which was Superman footie pajamas), but then *PLOT TWIST* she tells him there's even more in the gift, the main surprise. He pulls out a piece of paper, a petition for adoption, and immediately gets emotional, starts crying, hugs Misty, Misty starts crying, I START CRYING, EVERYONE STARTS CRYING. IT'S A MESS, OK? I'M A MESS.

Sniffling, Ryan says something about how he's been wanting to do this for a long time, and the onlookers who filmed this whole emotional throwdown say how sweet it all is. I've maybe watched this video seven times this morning. It is heartwarming and great, and I might even go as far as to say it will restore your faith in humanity. But go ahead and watch for yourself. Have tissues handy.
