Delivery Man Saves Customer's Life After Noticing an Unusual Pattern in His Pizza Order

An entire Domino's Pizza crew near Salem, Oregon, saved a regular customer's life over the weekend, KATU reports. When Kirk Alexander did not order his daily pizza, the staff became alarmed.

Alexander, 48, has ordered a pizza every day for more than 10 years, general manager of the store Sarah Fuller told KATU. "Our delivery drivers he knows really well," she said, so when "a few of my drivers had mentioned that we hadn't seen his order come across our screen in a while, so I went and looked up to see how long it had been since he last ordered and it was 11 days, which is not like him at all." She send Tracey Hamblen, a longtime delivery driver, over to Alexander's house to check on him.

"He wasn't answering his door but there was lights on," Fuller said, "and you could hear the TV playing." When Alexander didn't pick up the phone either, they called 911. According to KPTV, deputies found Alexander on the ground "in need of immediate medical attention."

Alexander was taken to the hospital for treatment, and though it's unclear what he needed treatment for, he is now in stable condition.
