Cop these fashion trends to look like a dream in this month of love

While December is often considered the month of romance, with Christmas and New Year’s sparking all hearts to seek a little love and companionship, February plunges us headfirst into a celebration of love. With Valentine’s Week, at least a quarter of the month remains dedicated to love, and we find ourselves engulfed in a whirlwind of all things romantic. The world around us ensures we're reminded to feel a sense of endearment, whether it's for our partners, our pals, or ourselves.

And as we bask in the warmth of this holiday, we dedicate the entire month to dressing like a dream! Here are a few trends perfectly suited for you to embrace this month.

Bows

L-R: Zabella, Self-Portrait, Iris

There's absolutely no reason not to adore bows; Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt swear by them. Iris’s sequined dress boasts a large organza bow at the waist, while Zabella’s tweed number features a mid-sized embellished bow at the neck. Opt for a minimal yet elegant style with Self-Portrait’s fit-and-flare midi dress, adorned with two small embellished bows.

Summer blooms

L-R: Verb by Payal Singhee, NA-KD, Kaveri, and Saaksha & Kinni

Florals have been a timeless favourite, but this season offers refreshing takes on the trend. Roses are set to reign supreme, with 3D blossoms popping up everywhere! Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan stunned in a powder-blue co-ord set with a statement 3D rose at the shoulder. This pink NA-KD dress, sporting a small 3D rose at the neckline, allows you to flaunt the trend without needing a red carpet. If you prefer something more minimal, you can opt for subtle rose prints or embroideries—this dreamy dress by Kaveri is just perfect for that.

Don’t restrict yourself to roses; flowers never go out of style. This beige cotton dress with flower prints closer to the hem by Verb by Payal Singhee and a gorgeous floral red maxi dress by Saaksha & Kinni are great additions to your wardrobe too!

Hearts

L-R: Superdown, Osé Studios, and Mati

Heart cut-outs are stealing the spotlight this season! This bright orange maxi dress by Osé Studios features strategically placed heart-shaped cut-outs all over the outfit, while the minimalist white satin dress by Superdown features one closer to the hem. The crystal embellishments all around it ensure the heart-shaped cutout is highlighted beautifully. For a heart print, consider an adorable cotton linen dress by Mati, adorned with tiny heart motifs.

Metallic

L-R: ITRH, Deme By Gabriella, and Kangana Trehan

Shimmer and shine in metallic dresses this szn; they're not just for Christmas anymore! This one-shoulder cut-out silver gown by ITRH will flatter your curves and make you look sexy. This short silver dress by Deme By Gabriella brings you the best of both worlds with the little roses on the collar and at the hem. For a futuristic vibe, try the Kangana Trehan metallic foil dress, exuding major cyborg chic.

Monochrome

L-R: Summer Somewhere, ATBW, Richaa Goenka, and The Iaso

While reds and pinks typically reign in the month of love, let's not forget the timeless elegance of black and white! Embrace modernity and comfort with a checkered, anti-fit organza dress by ATBW. For a sultry look, opt for a deep cowl-back strappy dress with a high slit by Summer Somewhere. Steal the show at an elegant dinner in a black crepe dress with an embroidered belt by Richaa Goenka, or keep it classy for brunch with the main girls in an off-white gathered midi dress by The Iaso.
