Aside from the winter months, when have you ever seen anyone in gloves? Ok sure, extreme Mary Poppins enthusiasts might be partial to popping a pair on every now and then, but like, it's really not a thing, right?
Well, clearly we missed the memo, because Kendall and Kylie Jenner both just stepped out at Coachella wearing full length evening gloves. Yep, no hand warmers here, we're talking arms covered. If that wasn't weird enough, we're kinda digging it.
While our initial thoughts were that the matching sister-glove combo was obviously pre-planned (really, what are the odds that they would both randomly wear them?), in a bizarre turn of events, we are now not so sure, as Kendall's post was sponsored by Revolve - aka, she was probably paid to wear them.[instagram]https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQhGTljlCO/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_medium=loading[/instagram]
The last time we checked, though, celebrities still had the luxury of free will when posting adverts for brands, so she most probably had the chance to wear whatever Revolve clothes she wanted. Hmm. Suspicious.
Kylie's getup was all together more glam, coordinating a sparkly, jewel encrusted dress with a matching pair of long evening gloves. Despite their garish vibe, we think we're more into Kendall's glorious green pair. Doesn't she look elegant AND cool, aren't they just oozing fash points, and look how cute they are with her matching boots. Ok, we might be more obsessed than we first thought.
Fashion aside, we're not sure how practical wearing evening gloves to a festival situated in a desert is, but hey, who are we to judge? Our only wish is that we could rock the look as well as the Jenner's - that's not to say we wouldn't consider trying out the lwek.
See a girl at Glasto in hot pink, sparkly evening gloves? Come say hi, 98% chance it's me.
