Is This Instagram Hack the Secret to the Perfect Selfie?

The Kardashian's go-to makeup artist, Patrick Ta, has revealed the secret to taking a perfect selfie and no, it's not FaceTune. 

With over 500k followers on instagram, it's fair to say he knows a thing or two about scoring a LOT of likes. So what's his trick?  

Apparently, the key lies in the filter. Whilst we're used to adding a dreamy wash to our snaps with the likes of Valencia or Clarendon, when it comes to selfies, he swears by the 'red filter' in the colour editing section of instagram.

Yup, PopSugar reports that he loves the filter as it 'elevates the visibility of your makeup and leaves your complexion bronzed and luminous​'.
