Hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani Tells Cosmo What Makes Her a Feminist

​"The one quote that defines feminism best is, 'It's not who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me'. Ever since I was a child, this whole idea of permission really bothered me. First with parents, then brothers, then grandparents, then your husband. Why? Men don't have to ask for permission, do they? It's about equal rights. There's no male-bashing, feminists aren't man-haters. Most people think that feminists are either gay or they don't really like men. I mean, I love men, and I've been married to many. And I'll love many more. But I should be able to do what I want, and that makes me a feminist."
