Vivian Jenna Wilson, the 20-year-old daughter of tech magnate Elon Musk and author Justine Wilson, is stepping into the spotlight—but this time, it’s not for her famous lineage. On May 15, Wilson unveiled her modelling debut in a vibrant new campaign for Wildfang, a fashion label celebrated for its progressive stance on identity, inclusivity, and bold self-expression.

In the striking visuals, Wilson is seen wearing a lavender tee and deep violet trousers, with the words “Existing shouldn’t be revolutionary” emblazoned across her chest—a powerful message tied closely to her personal journey and the campaign’s broader Pride Month message. This capsule, titled Say My Name, is a tribute to trans and queer identities. It includes a special-edition tee designed in collaboration with Wilson herself, with 100 per cent of its profits going to The Trevor Project, a non-profit dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth in crisis.

But there’s more to the story than just great styling. Wilson’s rise in the fashion world isn’t accidental. After gaining attention for her candid public appearances, her growing voice online piqued the interest of top modelling scouts. IMG Models, one of the industry's leading agencies, reportedly signed her following this digital momentum. Her online presence and distinct narrative, according to the agency, made her an exciting new voice worth backing.

With her first major campaign under her belt, Wilson is already making waves—not just for her looks, but for what she represents. At the intersection of fashion and activism, she’s proving that style can be both expressive and empowering. And while this may be her first foray into modelling, something tells us it’s only the beginning.

Wilson's modelling debut also features a striking 40-foot hand-painted braid spelling out her name, symbolising her embrace of identity and self-expression. Inspired by RuPaul’s Drag Race and queens like Sasha Colby, Wilson incorporates elements of gothic and butch aesthetics into her personal style. She aspires to continue modelling and hopes to walk runways soon.

Beyond fashion, Wilson has been vocal about her experiences as a transgender woman and her strained relationship with her father, Elon Musk. In an interview earlier this year, she also went so far as to describe him as a "pathetic man-child" and criticised his views on gender identity.

Currently residing and studying in Tokyo, Wilson continues to use her platform to advocate for trans rights and queer activism, aiming to inspire others through her journey and work.
