The royals have already been putting in werk this weekend, with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton attending Wimbledon yesterday, and Kate and Prince William going to the tennis tournament earlier today. But they're not done with the public appearances yet! Prince Harry and Meghan just showed up to the European premiere of The Lion King in London, and they look great. And a reminder that Meghan is still on maternity leave, so this is a big deal!
Meghan opted for a simple black midi dress paired with black heels, a black clutch, and a pair of unique diamond earrings:
While Harry went with a suit and bowtie, looking v dapper.
Meghan and Harry walked the red carpet (or, I guess yellow carpet in this case?) holding hands and having cute moments like this:
According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, Harry and Meghan met fans and shook hands while walking into the venue. And before the movie screening, Harry and Meghan met Beyoncé and Jay-Z (and I can't decide which couple would've been more excited about meeting!).
And if you're wondering why Meghan and Harry are at a movie premiere, Omid reports that The Lion King premiere partnered with The Royal Foundation and the conservation work that Prince Harry is doing, and that Disney is also launching a campaign to protect African lions, which also aligns with Harry's work.
Prince Harry will attend the Euro premiere of @disneylionking on July 14, which is being held in support of his conservation work through The Royal Foundation.@WaltDisneyCo have also announced #ProtectThePride, a campaign to protect the dwindling lion population across Africa. pic.twitter.com/wETe1nSBRi

In other words, hooray for both saving animals and Meghan making another maternity leave appearance!
