Alia and Ranbir Get Married Today! Here's Everything We Know and Today's Latest Photographs

There is something about a celebrity wedding that captures the imagination and piques the interest of everyone around. So, when actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor chose to tie the knot, and that too in an extremely private manner and shrouded by secrecy, you can well imagine just how eagerly their fans awaited any news and glimpses of the wedding celebrations. 

Yesterday, Cosmo India shared photographs of their close friends and family heading for an intimate prayer ceremony followed by wedding festivities such as the haldi and mehendi ceremonies. Early today, Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Neetu Singh and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were seen arriving at RK house for the wedding, as seen in these photographs.

So who exactly will be at today's event, and what celebrations will follow after? Here is what we know. 

According to reports, the couple will be wed in an intimate ceremony at around 2 PM today, at Ranbir's ancestral home Vastu in Bandra, with only 28 guests in attendance.These guests will include Alia and Ranbir's immediate family, relatives such as Kareena Kapoor, Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain etc, as well as close friends such as Karan Johar and Anushka Rajan Kapoor and Akansha Rajan. Alia and Ranbir will share the first photos of their wedding post 7 pm today.

The wedding ceremony will be followed by a celebratory party at Ranbir's home. According to sources, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Akansha Rajan Kapoor, Anushka Rajan, Rohit Dhawan, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be amongst those invited.
