Earlier today, actor Evelyn Sharma shared images of her intimate wedding to her longtime boyfriend Tushaan Bhindi. Evelyn and Tushaan had got engaged in 2019, and they got married in May, at an idyllic countryside setting in Brisbane, Australia.

For the ceremony itself, Evelyn wore a silhouette-skimming lace dress by Lost In Paris. A huge champion of the cause of sustainability, her dress is crafted from of ethically sourced, vintage European lace. As a strong advocate of the cause of slow fashion, her beautiful dress also made for a fitting, ideological choice.

After their engagement in 2019, the couple were planning a big fat Indian wedding. However, the pandemic through a spanner in the wedding works, and they opted for a low-key but gorgeous intimate ceremony set at a picturesque countryside setting in Brisbane, Australia.

So who is Evelyn's spouse Tushaan Bhindi you ask? Tushaan is an Australia-based dental surgeon and entrepreneur. The couple met when they were set us on a blind date by their mutual friends. A year later, Tushaan popped the question to Evelyn, on a yacht, against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

She said yes, of course! The couple owns an adorable puppy named 'Coco' together. Speaking of the wedding, Tushaan shared in an interview, "We had been engaged for a year-and-half and have been planning to get married ever since, but the lockdown slowed down our plans. In times like this, we did not want to draw a lot of attention to ourselves; we wanted to keep things simple and straightforward. It was time to make our love and commitment official to the world.”

Speaking of future plans, Evelyn and Tushaan have shared," We hope we will be able to host a big wedding reception, where all our family and friends will celebrate our love with us. For now, we are grateful for their good wishes and blessings as we pray for a better time ahead for our homeland India."
