Rahul Dev Shares How You Can Workout With No Equipments

Fitness and being in your best shape is for everyone. Yes, even for those blessed with a lean body type who cannot seem to put on weight or muscles. So, if you are missing the weights and the gym to fulfill your health goals of gaining muscles, here's some food for thought!

Actor Rahul Dev, who recently completed two decades in Bollywood, shares his self-reliant workout routine that is perfect for your lockdown fitness sessions. He says, "I have invented my own fitness routine during the lockdown that is suitable to my body type. I am lean, so I prefer not doing too much cardio since I tend to lose too much weight and muscles. So, my workout is simple. First is stairing or using the stairs as an exercise. I do 10 rounds of climbing 22 floors at a balanced steady pace. If you climb stairs in excessive hurry you may injure your knees."

Sounds simple? Well, the actor suggests amping up your stairs sessions by carrying stuffed bags equally across your shoulder as weights. Recuperating from a shoulder injury, Rahul has found a great way to keep up with his fitness goals. The name of the game is isometric exercises or strength training exercises that do not require dynamic movements. It is a great way to gain muscles without using weights.

Rahul says, "I find stretch and strength bands very effective too. But I am also doing isometric exercises atthe moment without any weights! Working out with bands and simple stretches that involve breathing are a great workout too. The key is perfect your breathing pattern. It not only helps you get a good workout but also helps you keep down your stress levels. No pull ups, chin-ups or even push ups at the moment due to my injury. After all, patience is the key to recovery."

So, keep up with your fitness goals and do not give up to get the perfect lockdown glow-up!
