The fashion, beauty, and entertainment news everyone's been talking about lately

Missed a few headlines while doom-scrolling? We've got you. From designer drops and beauty launches to TV shake-ups, celebrity news, and fashion moments that sent the internet into a spiral, this month delivered plenty of reasons to refresh our group chats. Here's your quick catch-up on everything that had culture, fashion, beauty, and entertainment buzzing.

Péro-fection

Your wardrobe is about to get a major dose of dopamine. Delhi- based crafts-oriented brand péro’s SS26 ‘Doodle’ collection celebrates the unfiltered joy of childhood, transforming clothes into living canvases. Forget rigid perfection; the designs feature scribbled florals, neon-popping tangaliya patterns, alongside signature appliqué, beadwork, crochet and more, capturing the spontaneity of a child’s imagination.

Off Campus Season 2 twist

Prime Video’s massive new hit Off Campus locked in a second season, and the writers are already switching up the playbook. Instead of following the exact order of Elle Kennedy’s viral novels, Season 2 is jumping straight to the relationship between Dean and Allie, played by Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla. To fill out the rest of the campus drama, they’ve also added new cast members, including Hamilton’s Philippa Soo. Filming kicks off this June in Vancouver, so while we wait for the new episodes to drop sometime next year, you have time to catch up on the first season—if the internet hasn’t spoiled it for you already.

Dialed up

When high fashion meets streetwear, things always get a little loud—but the new AP x Swatch drop took things to a whole new level. The collection reimagines the legendary 1972 Royal Oak watch in eight candy-bright colours, complete with a cool modular face you can detach and wear as a necklace. The only catch was actually trying to buy one. The global launch turned into a total frenzy, with miles-long lines leading to massive crowd drama, arguments, and emergency store closures across major fashion capitals. It’s definitely a major style statement for your wrist, but it came with a side of retail opera.

Football fever is back

The FIFA World Cup hype is officially at a fever pitch. Shakira is back with Dai Dai, the new official anthem raising funds for global education. Even bigger? She’s making history by headlining the first- ever World Cup halftime show on July 19 alongside Madonna and BTS. Talk about a total cultural reset. Consider our calendars cleared and our playlists officially locked in for summer.

A very chic sole-ution

Finding footwear that looks incredibly sharp but doesn’t absolutely punish your feet is the ultimate fashion win—and Aldo’s SS26 drop is hitting that rare sweet spot. Brand ambassador, actor Rasha Thadani, co-hosted the exclusive Mumbai launch, unveiling a curated edit that has us immediately restructuring our shoe budgets. We’re talking everything from effortless flat espadrilles and sleek everyday sneakers to architectural heels. The real game-changer? The built-in Pillow Walk foam insoles, which promise high- rebound support exactly where you need it most. Consider this your official sign to refresh your rotation and add to cart before everyone else does.

Un-premium behaviour

Studio 54 lately, you aren’t hallucinating. To celebrate its big 20th anniversary, Spotify decided to ditch its usual minimalist 2-D green circle and gave its app icon a major, 3-D sparkly green disco ball glow-up. Cute, right? Well, the internet begged to differ. After users collectively lost their minds and flooded the timelines with major backlash, Spotify confirmed the original flat logo is making a comeback, proving that sometimes, you just can’t mess with a classic.

Intimate luxury bottled up

If you lean towards subtle, ‘your skin but better’ fragrances, Acqua di Parma’s new Buongiorno collection is worth checking out. Moving away from the heavy, overpowering perfumes that tend to dominate a room, this five-bottle lineup keeps things much more low-key and intimate. Options like Buongiorno Al Bacio and Buongiorno Amore Mio lean into a clean and cosy vibe. As a bonus, the bottles feature some quirky, dreamlike artwork by artist Matteo Cibic, making them an understated addition to a vanity setup.

History, but make it art

If your travel plans include Washington DC, add the Smithsonian’s new exhibition to your itinerary. On display till July 26, 2026 at the Arthur M Sackler Gallery at National Museum of Asian Art, ‘Of the Hills: Pahari Paintings from India’s Himalayan Kingdom’ showcases 48 mesmerising artworks from India’s mountain lineages. Crafted between the 1620s and 1830s, the collection has been acquired from art historians Catherine Glynn Benkaim and Ralph Benkaim.

The ultimate heartbreak

In news that has officially ruined our mood, Peacock has pulled the plug on the highly anticipated Clueless sequel series. The project was set to bring back the ultimate fashion icon, Alicia Silverstone, to reprise her legendary role as Cher Horowitz, following her life years after the events of the original 1995 masterpiece. We were fully prepared for a massive wave of plaid, Beverly Hills nostalgia, and iconic one-liners—but it looks like this revival is officially cancelled.

Sleek summer style awaits

Mango joins forces with Hailey Bieber, you know your summer wardrobe is about to get a serious upgrade. The new collection by the brand is all about playing with proportions: Think tiny micro- shorts, cropped tanks, and minidresses paired with massive, oversized jackets. The colour palette sticks to simple neutrals but adds pops of bold red and deep blue. It’s not breaking any new fashion rules, but if you want that effortless, LA-cool look for everything from coffee runs to weekend drinks, it’s a very easy win.

Nailed it

Birkenstock is officially entering its beauty era with its first-ever nail polish collection. Sitting under the brand’s Care Essentials line, this drop moves away from pure, functional foot care and leans straight into high-finish aesthetics. It is positioned as less of a fix and more of a finish, designed to complement a summer footwear rotation. If you regularly wear open-toe slides, these specific shades are formulated to pair easily with the brand’s classic cork and leather straps for a coordinated look.

Hard launch

Delhi’s favourite fashion pit stop just got a little brighter. Fine jewellery house Izzari has officially docked at Ambawatta One, Mehrauli, with a brand-new flagship boutique. The new space is minimalist and nature-focused. It houses everything from their staple 18k gold and natural diamond separates to ‘Royale’—a new drop defined by subtle, understated craftsmanship. For anyone looking to invest in elevated, everyday pieces, it’s a chic new retail destination to keep on your radar.

Fur-free future

Milan Fashion Week is finally breaking up with fur. The National Chamber of Italian Fashion (CNMI) announced that it will no longer promote fur across any official events or social media. While it’s technically a compromise—brands can still use fur outside of MFW—it’s a massive win following heavy pressure from animal rights groups.

Style upgrade

Nicobar’s latest collaboration with senior designer Rajesh Pratap Singh is a lesson in how to do low-key summer dressing right. The drop focuses heavily on deep indigo tones, mixing Nicobar’s signature relaxed vibe with Singh’s precision\ tailoring. Expect smarter casuals for men (hello, sleek bandhgalas!) alongside a minimalist range of home textiles. It’s a sophisticated capsule that updates a wardrobe without trying too hard.

J-beauty takes over!

Clear some vanity space, because your skin is about to enter its main-character era. ICYMI, SK-II finally made its grand Indian debut, and they brought the ultimate J-Beauty royalty, Anna Sawai, straight to Mumbai to celebrate. If you haven’t copped their legendary Pitera essence yet—the literal magic potion for that bouncy, crystal-clear glow—consider this your sign. Say sayonara to dull skin!

Crafts forward

Anavila just dropped the ultimate fashion escape in Delhi. Designed as a serene sanctuary, this new luxury store features grey concrete brickwork, natural wood floors, and cosy seating. It beautifully showcases the brand’s iconic saris and other womenswear in an understated yet elegant setting. It’s majorly mood-boosting and your] official cue to go indulge in some retail therapy.

Haul alert

Amazon India is dropping major beauty news, adding over 100 premium international brands to its roster for 2026. The lineup features luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana and dermatologist-backed holy grails like CeraVe, alongside heavy hitters like Laura Mercier, Paula’s Choice, Urban Decay, and La Roche-Posay. Even better? The biggest drops, offers, and blockbuster deals are locked and loaded to go live just in time for Prime Day this July.

Stella McCartney X H&M

The latest H&M designer collaboration is officially here (and mostly gone). Stella McCartney returned to the retail giant with a capsule collection focused on effortless, everyday luxury—featuring boxy blazers  relaxed shirting, and lightweight outerwear. To absolutely no one’s surprise, the exclusive drop flew off the virtual shelves in record time. It’s a solid, highly wearable collection that brought high-end tailoring to a high-street price  point, making it the most frantic click-to- cart event of the season.

Home is where haute is

Viya is expanding beyond decor and stepping into our closets. The luxury lifestyle brand has debuted its first womenswear collection, focusing on easy, seasonless silhouettes. The lineup pairs fluid silks and breezy Chanderi with sun-sign-inspired prints and the brand’s signature brass hardware. Featuring everything from relaxed kaftans to sharp separates, it’s a strong case for effortless, quiet luxury that actually feels wearable.

Espresso yourself

Tory Burch put a luxury spin on New Delhi’s caffeine routine this season, setting up a temporary residency at the Roastery Coffee House. The Romy Café pop-up used the brand’s signature Romy bag as design inspiration, rolling out custom coffee sleeves, bespoke dessert carriers, and a coordinated menu. Complete with live illustration stations and a resident DJ, the takeover was clearly built for the capital’s fashion crowd to see and be seen. Consider our coffee standards permanently raised—or at least, breakfast meetings are going to feel a lot more boring after this.
